My name is Malin, and I'm behind Minegleder – a little creative corner where I share my passion for knitting 🧶

I learned to knit in kindergarten, with great help from my grandmothers. In middle school, my interest blossomed in full force – and since then, my knitting needles have never been at rest. I knitted my very first cardigan when I was 14 (it turned out five sizes too big 😂), but the joy and willingness to learn were there from the start!

After over 20 years of active knitting, I wanted to take my hobby a step further. In 2024, I finally plucked up the courage to start designing my own patterns – and it has been an incredibly exciting and rewarding journey.

I run the Instagram account minegleder - which gives me a lot of inspiration and great acquaintances. Social media is incredibly fun - and a great place to see where everyone lets their creativity flourish.

I work as a home health nurse at night, am married and have two children. I love designing garments that are feminine, with structure, details and maybe a little pearls. I like to knit best on 3.5–4.5 mm needles with yarn that is not too thick.

Through Minegleder, I want to inspire others to discover how much joy lies in yarn, needles and creativity.
